We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teacher to join an inclusive and forward-thinking team. In this rewarding role, you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with SENCO and support staff
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
  • Use a range of teaching techniques and assistive technologies to support diverse learning styles
  • Promote student's independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
  • Participate in school-wide SEN training and development initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEN experience or a specialism
  • Child DBS on the update service.
  • Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing, flexible, and solution-focused mindset
