Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join my client's team in Wallasey, working from September on an on-going basis. The successful candidate will work closely with their nursery staff to support children with SEN, ensuring they have a positive and enriching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and record the progress of children with SEN.
- Foster a safe and supportive atmosphere for all children.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
