Are you an experienced field engineer with a passion for hands-on problem solving and the freedom of working independently? This is a brilliant opportunity to join a thriving UK manufacturer that’s leading the way in sustainable washroom technology.
As the business continues to grow, we’re recruiting a Service Engineer to support clients predominantly across Devon and Cornwall, with occasional travel further afield. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring customers receive the highest levels of support, reliability, and aftercare.
What You’ll Be Doing
Service, maintain and repair a range of innovative washroom solutions in sectors including public infrastructure, transport, education, and secure facilities.
Respond to call-outs under warranty or service contracts and deliver first-class technical support on-site.
Commission new installations and support customers with hands-on guidance and issue resolution.
Manage your own working calendar and spares van stock to maintain efficiency and effectiveness across your region.
Provide detailed engineer reports and uphold the company’s high standards in both customer service and product support.
Occasionally cover other UK zones and stay overnight when required.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for a self-motivated engineer with strong practical skills and a commitment to quality. You'll need:
A solid background in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work
Experience in electromechanical maintenance or similar field-based roles
Strong diagnostic skills with a methodical, solution-focused approach
Minimum qualifications: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently on your own
A full UK driving licence
What’s In It For You?
Salary circa £30,000 + Christmas Bonus (based on company and personal performance)
Company vehicle, tools, and uniform
24 days’ holiday + bank holidays (with 3 days reserved for Christmas closure)
Strong support through induction, product training, and ongoing development
Auto-enrolment pension scheme
A role with real variety – from schools and train stations to secure healthcare environments
The Details
Full-time (37.5 hrs/week, Mon–Fri)
Base: Devon/Cornwall (remote field-based) with infrequent travel to HQ in Salisbury, Wilts.
