Work Pattern
Your contracted hours each week throughout your apprenticeship will be 40 hours Monday - Friday.
Location
This role is based at Ansty Park, Coventry and across at CVD Holbrook Lane. It is recommended that you live within a commutable distance of these locations.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with the HSE management system standards, including organising internal and external audits and following up on any actions or findings.
Training Delivery: Prepare and deliver HSE training to employees.
Incident Reporting and Investigation: Report and investigate incidents promptly.
Reporting and Metrics: Provide internal and external reports on key HSE metrics and KPIs.
Site Briefings: Prepare and deliver site HSE briefings when required.
Accident and RIDDOR Reporting: Collect and report accident records, including any incidents that must be reported under RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) requirements.
Incident Tracking: Issue and monitor Unsafe Condition/Near Miss reports and track accident/incident data.
Investigation Assistance: Assist with HSE incident investigation reports when required.

Training
Alongside your day role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with your external training provider, RHG. This will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively.

Qualifications
5 x GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
In order to apply, you must:
Not already hold a similar qualification to this programme.
Be at least 16 years old when the apprenticeship begins.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least the past three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.
Have completed full-time education before the apprenticeship is due to start.

What does the future look like?
Upon successful completion of the programme — and subject to performance — you may have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the team or business area where you completed your apprenticeship.
