Are you passionate about creating a workplace where people love to work?

Join our team as the Employee Experience Officer and support in implementing cultural initiatives and events including eNewsletters, forums, briefings and awards evenings to improve the overall experience of our workforce. Your role is vital in driving employee engagement and making the council an outstanding place to work.

We’re looking for someone who brings creativity and digital fluency to the table. You’ll use your marketing and communication expertise to craft compelling content, manage internal campaigns, and leverage digital platforms to boost engagement and visibility. Your ability to analyse data and feedback from surveys will help us continuously improve and develop our approach.

You will help create and deliver an employee experience strategy aligned with Our Identity and the employer brand. This role involves ensuring the overall employee journey, from the initial candidate experience to the entire employee lifecycle, is effective. You will lead the delivery of the employee experience aspects of the workforce strategy and associated activities.

We are looking for creative candidates with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or those with equivalent relevant experience. You should possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience in managing or leading projects, and in organising and delivering successful events, is essential.

If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for improving employee experience, we want to hear from you.
