Summary
Could you support to a blind gentlemen living in the Narborough area?
Role Requirements
The primary focus of this role is to:
provide domestic support around the home (cleaning of bathroom, dusting/vacuuming, etc.)
prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals
assist with various appointments from time-to-time by driving the client's car
For chores around the home, you will need to be a self-starter able to see what needs to be done and able to get on with it with minimal supervision. The client likes their home to be very clean and tidy. They also enjoy the outdoors and nature. There is a well-behaved guide dog at the property.
You must have a full clean UK driving licence.
The client is registered blind and requires sighted guidance. Sight loss awareness and guidance training will be provided.
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive. Genuine applicants only please.
The role is subject to interview, references and an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the funding authority if you don't already have a certificate).
