The Collective Community Trust is a newly formed Trust responsible for seven primary schools. As a central team we are committed to providing high quality support services to support the schools in the Trust.

An exciting opportunity for a playworker has arisen to join our team of caring, committed team of professionals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our school team, based at Heaton Park Primary School.

You will:

We are seeking fun, dynamic, responsible, creative, enthusiastic and organised play workers. This role will include supporting the children and staff, being approachable to our parents and above all provide a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment for the children in our care.

Hours of work are variable but up to 22.5hrs per week term time only, likely to be scheduled 07:30-09:00 and 15:00-17:30 Monday to Friday.

The role includes working with children from Early Years through to KS2. You will be part of our existing afterschool club provision so experience of working as part of a team and with children is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing children with high standards in play experiences, appropriate to their age and development
  • Ensuring a fun and stimulating environment
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate and effective records
  • Ensuring all legislation in relation to Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Inclusion is complied with
