Summary

Dear Prospective Applicant,

We are pleased to invite applications for the roles of Unqualified Before and After School Club Play Leaders at Hollins Grundy Primary School. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, inclusive school community that places happiness, health, and respect at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:
As a Play Leader, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for our pupils outside of regular school hours. You will lead a variety of engaging activities that reflect our ethos of nurturing confident, creative learners and supporting every child’s wellbeing and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering fun, inclusive activities that promote creativity, cooperation, and confidence.
- Supervising children to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and modelling respectful relationships.
- Preparing and serving healthy snacks.
- Upholding safeguarding policies and maintaining accurate records.

What We’re Looking For:
- A kind, enthusiastic, and dependable individual who shares our commitment to inclusion and respect.
- Experience working with children in a playwork, childcare, or educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

Hours
- Before School Club: 07:15 08:45
- After School Club: 15:15 17:45
- Competitive hourly rate: depending on experience and qualifications.

Days and sessions to be worked can be flexible.
