Grade Learning Support 1.3 GO2 (SCP Range 5 to 8)
Term Time only + 5 Training Days
30 hours per week (5 days per week)
Salary: £24,790-£26,001 (FTE)
(Actual Salary: £17,289-£18,134)
Argoed High School is a highly successful, 11-16 comprehensive with an excellent reputation in the community. This is an exciting time to join Argoed High School, with our new state of the art building.
We are looking to appoint to the post of Cover Supervisor a professional, reliable and competent person with the necessary skills to carry out the post.
Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, the post holder will assist the teachers in ensuring our students reach their full potential, by supervising effective and interesting lessons in their absence.
The may be option will be available for extra hours covering lunch time duties or running extra-curricular clubs/activities and other duties.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, an approachable, confident manner and an empathy with young people. They will have recent and relevant experience and will be able to demonstrate good communication, organisational and behaviour management skills in a classroom setting.
Argoed High School is committed to the safety of its pupils and staff. The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, and the post holder will have to be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
