I am a young man in my mid-twenties, and I am looking for someone special of a similar age to support me to increase my confidence and access the community.

I live at home with my parents in Hailsham and have 4 hours per week available, I am flexible on the days and times, and we can discuss this at interview.

I suffer with severe anxiety, selective mutism panic attacks, blood phobia and emetophobia. I find it very hard to communicate, even with my family, and I am unable to leave home without a family member and do not want to go anywhere busy or crowded. In the last year I have begun working with staff at Millwood in Uckfield and have been having CBT. This has been very beneficial for me, and my confidence is gradually improving. Since beginning therapy, I can now make brief eye contact and speak for short periods.

You will need to be patient, kind, and understanding and initially, until I get to know you our meetings maybe short but would increase over time.
