Summary

We are recruiting a Statutory Caseworker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Full Time/Fixed Term until 31-03-2026
Location: Ty Penallta/ Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Inclusion and Additional Learning Needs Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £25,584 - £27,269 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking to recruit a Statutory Caseworker to work in a well-regarded and highly skilled team, strengthening our approach to the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Education Tribunal Act.

We work collaboratively with all stakeholders with whom we have strong links to ensure that children and young people with ALN have their needs met.

This post will focus on supporting the transition between Early Years settings and schools.

You would be joining an enthusiastic and friendly team with flexible working opportunities and agile working to promote work life balance.

For the role, we ask that you have:

1. A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example NVQ3, BTEC National, ONC.
2. Evidence of understanding / experience of working with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
3. Evidence of general administrative experience.
