About you...
We are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
You will be a dedicated and compassionate professional who is organised, creative and an excellent communicator. You will be committed to empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives, and focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You will have a strong understanding of, and commitment to, safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their welfare.
Your role will involve working collaboratively with individuals, families and professionals to develop effective care plans, while upholding the highest standards of social work practice.
You will be provided with a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working when required.

Key responsibilities...
You will hold a case load of people with Learning Disabilities and Autism and will be required to fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service. The post involves assessment, support planning and review, direct work with people who have a Learning Disability and or Autism as well as general case management duties.
