Are you an experienced Surveyor with a passion for delivering quality housing services? We're working with a leading social housing contractor in North London, who are seeking a skilled Surveyor to support their major reactive repairs programme.
This is a 6-month temporary position, with a strong chance of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You'll be responsible for diagnosing issues, specifying works, and ensuring high standards of repair are met, making a real impact for residents across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property surveys for reactive repairs in social housing stock
- Prepare detailed reports and repair specifications
- Liaise with operatives, subcontractors, and housing officers
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and contract standards
- Monitor works progress and quality, ensuring tenant satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in surveying within a social housing/reactive repairs environment
- Strong understanding of building pathology and repair methodologies
- Working at Heights and Asbestos Awareness certifications - essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
