Summary
Responsible for providing an operational intelligence analysis function and process that meets the professional requirements of investigators, the Crown Prosecution Service and Counsel. Providing an annual assessment of the current and emerging fraud and corruption risks facing the NHS and wider health service. This will identify key risks and make recommendations upon priorities informing and driving the strategic direction and planning of the NHSCFA, DHSC and the wider NHS on a twelve-month cycle. Initiating, leading, and developing a range of research projects which interpret the uncertain crime risks facing the health service, providing evidence-based information, intelligence, research, and statistics to drive and support strategic, tactical and decision making within the NHSCFA, the DHSC and wider NHS. Enabling the analysis of highly complex and multi-faceted crimes and crime risks where the information may be incomplete or conflicting.
