We’re looking for a confident and compassionate leader to coordinate our Family & Community Navigators across four districts of Birmingham, Erdington, Hodge Hill, Perry Barr and Sutton Coldfield. You’ll play a key role in helping families access the right help at the right time, while building powerful partnerships and supporting a thriving team.


In this role, you will:

· Lead and supervise Community Navigators and local volunteers

· Provide direct, strengths-based support to families

· Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for your area

· Build relationships with partners, agencies, and community groups

· Contribute to service planning, impact reporting, and outreach


What your week will look like:

· Supporting and supervising Family Navigators and volunteers across four districts

· Oversee the navigating duty processes

· Provide DSL support when required for all teams

· Role modelling sessions, events and user voice within the districts


What we’re looking for:

· A Level 3 qualification in social care, community work, or similar

· Experience working with families and supervising staff or volunteers

· Strong local knowledge and partnership-building skills

· Digital confidence and great communication skills

· Passion for inclusive, strengths-based community work
