The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Have experience working in an SEN setting or supporting pupils with SEN in a mainstream setting.
Hold experience of supporting pupils in the following areas: autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex learning needs.
Skilled in planning and delivering individually adapted, engaging lessons working towards EHCP requirements
Competent in applying a variety of strategies to support pupils in a calm, and caring approach.
Work collaboratively with a variety of other professionals including; TAs, therapists, and the wider SEN team to support holistic development
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and child-centred practice.
