Summary

We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places - Building Solutions South team based in the South of England.

Location: Berkshire AWE Hours: 37.5 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places - Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction and refurbishment projects for key strategic clients across public and private sectors.

Your day to day will include:

-Managing and developing the commercial team, ensuring effective workload coverage and adherence to processes

-Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts, and value reports at both project and business unit level

-Supporting the commercial performance and strategy through cost management and stakeholder engagement

-Letting and negotiating subcontractor contracts and ensuring accurate financial accounting

-Mitigating commercial and contractual risks while fostering good client and supply chain relationships

What are we looking for?This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You hold an HND/degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

-You have experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors, with a solid understanding of ICE/NEC contracts and Construction Law

-You can demonstrate strong time management, team leadership, and monthly financial reporting skills
