Summary
Sports Coach - Tameside:
Are you a Sports Coach or PE assistant looking for a new challenge in an alternative provision in the Tameside area? We are working with a school looking for experienced sports coaches to join their provision full-time.
You will be required to deliver and support sessions of sports and tailored outdoor activities for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and trauma-informed behaviour. The ideal candidate will be resilient and have excellent behaviour management techniques.
Position Details:

- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: September 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Strong experience of working within Sports or P.E
- Confident in leading small groups with sports sessions
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
