Summary
We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are thrilled to be working with one of London’s newest arts hubs. Located in an iconic part of London, this wonderful organisation is now seeking a Development Manager to join their team. This is an exciting time to join the team, as the organisation continues to grow, and the Development Manager will play a key role in their continued success.
We’re looking for a creative and commercially-minded fundraiser, with experience across the income streams, who can guide and develop the future of income generation for the charity. Working closely with the Director, this varied role will see you building relationships with businesses and grant-makers, as well as developing structured giving programmes to maximise on opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to take the next step in their fundraising career, and to make a real difference to a rapidly growing arts organisation!
Development Manager

Duties will include:
• Taking the lead on achieving ambitious income targets across various fundraising streams, particularly Corporate, Trusts & Foundations, and Individual Giving
• Working with the Director to develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy
• Researching, launching, and managing new programmes for donor acquisition and stewardship
• Working with colleagues to manage a calendar of cultivation and development events
The ideal candidate will:
• Have strong experience of generating income from a range of sources
• Be a strategic and creative thinker, capable of contributing to ongoing strategy
• Have outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with a range of different audiences
• Be able to identify, and act on, new opportunities for funding
