Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our happy and successful team. The successful candidate would need to:
• work with teachers to support teaching and learning,
• provide general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction of the class teacher,
• prepare resources and teaching materials,
• liaise with school staff, other professionals and parents.
Candidates should be caring, flexible, well organised, able to communicate effectively with children and adults, and support the school’s Christian ethos. A relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification as well as GCSE Grades A-C or 9-5 in English and Mathematics are desirable. Training in Read Write Inc desirable but not essential.

Hours/Days to be worked: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
Total hours to be worked: 32.5 hours per week.
Salary Scale: TA 1 Grade G3 scale point 6-9 £24 027 - £25 183 (£9 706.95 - £10 200 pro rata)
Job Type: Temporary to 31 August 2026 (initially)
