Summary
We are currently recruiting a Farm Assistant for a poultry farm near Great Ponton. This is a hands-on role working directly with birds and ensuring high welfare standards are maintained across the farm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily collection of eggs
• Weighing birds and recording data
• Ensuring feed and water systems are maintained and filled
• Monitoring and maintaining the welfare of birds
• General housekeeping and cleanliness of the farm
• Assisting with day-to-day farm duties as required
Requirements:
• Willingness to work with poultry in a hands-on environment
• Ability to work weekends as part of a rota
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Previous experience on a farm is an advantage but not essential – full training provided
You will be working any 5 days out of 7 so this may include weekends, from 7am
Transport required due to location
