Endoscopy Practitioner/Nottingham/Tollerton/Bank/Ad-Hoc Shifts Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join the bank team. Duties and responsibilities: To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in an endoscopy unit to facilitate effective endoscopy processes. Undertake routine tasks related to individual's health and wellbeing. Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent. Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters Develop own and others' personal development. Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others. Contribute to the implementation of services. Ensure own actions promote quality. Promote people's equality, diversity and rights. Reprocess endoscopy equipment. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI. Who we're looking for: NMC/HCPC ALS endoscopy skills desirable, but admitting and recovery skills essential Mentorship Decontamination certificate Minimum experience of working as Endoscopy Nurse/ODP with Endoscopy experience for 2years Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative Patient/customer facing experience Working as part of a team Previous exposure to endoscopic procedures Work with minimum supervision Awareness of infection control Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
