This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and high performing Triage Team delivering substance use services within the City of Nottingham. Nottingham Recovery Network Triage Team prides itself on good practice and innovation regarding substance use treatment interventions.
The Triage Team are the first port of call for individuals looking to access treatment services, therefore you will need excellent communication and motivational skills to encourage and motivate hard to reach groups into treatment.
The post holder will be expected to deliver comprehensive assessments, screening and the delivery of brief interventions, plus structured treatment at the Wellbeing Hub and other community venues. You will support our work to further expand into the community with a focus on the cycle of change and engaging specific and previously under-represented groups into treatment.
In addition to completing assessments the role will have its own caseload and support individuals who have substance use issues, and who need recovery related support as well as advice and guidance.
Applicants need to demonstrate an understanding of the factors impacting on substance use and dependency. You will require interpersonal skills to gain the confidence of service users and other agencies. Triage Practitioners should have the ability to balance treatment core values against the demands of a rigorous busy service where no two days are the same. We are looking for a colleague with the ability to develop and contribute to a consistent and effective integrated team approach.
For more information about role, please contact: Nikki Kershaw - Team Leader on 07766306214 or at nicola.kershaw@frameworkHA.org with any queries about the role.
Closing Date of Application: 8th July 2025
Interviews Anticipated to be held: 24th July 2025
