We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at ISS UK.
This is a maternity cover role, starting October 2025, offering the perfect opportunity to step into a professional kitchen environment and make a real impact.
Working Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm (with occasional weekend cover for holidays or sickness), you’ll support the day-to-day preparation of fresh, high-quality food and contribute to an excellent service experience for our clients and customers.

The Role
Prepare delicious, high-quality food
Take care to deliver outstanding catering services in and out of the kitchen
Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals
Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site
Uphold our health & safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment
Act as part of the larger ISS team, working with other areas to create an exceptional experience for colleagues and customers
About You
NVQ Level 2 (or in the process of completing) or equivalent cookery qualification
Passionate about great-tasting food
Advanced understanding of the principles of food hygiene
Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
Have a desire to succeed in your role
Deliver a high-quality service, with attention to detail
Both a supportive and helpful individual
Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
