Are you aged 16-24 and looking for an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience whilst working towards a qualification? If so, a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Application Support within Perth & Kinross Council could be what you are looking for.

Are you interested in a career in IT Systems and Data? We are looking for a young person that is motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn, to join our Systems Support Team as a Modern Apprentice.
You will learn how to provide systems support for Housing's integrated housing management system.
You will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting software issues, assisting clients with technical queries, learning from experienced professionals.
The role is varied between day-to-day help desk, assisting users and providing systems administration.
You will gain experience being part of development and transformation projects and learn the stages of system implementations.
You will learn what is involved in co-ordinating and testing system wide upgrades.
You will gain experience using software to deliver operational and performance reporting, contributing to data quality and standards, this includes using SAP Business Objects and Power Bi.
You will learn about Information Security, managing and maintaining appropriate access to systems and data ensuring that all regulatory and statutory obligations are observed.
This is a great opportunity for a young person to gain valuable skills and real experience in a systems support environment whilst contributing to the development of data intelligence systems.
