Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Stock Inventory Controller to join our fast-paced manufacturing site in Bilston. If you're a natural organiser who thrives on accuracy, stock control, and improving processes, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
• Take ownership of onsite stock accuracy for finished goods and production materials
• Oversee and improve storage systems and layouts
• Lead stocktakes and investigate discrepancies
• Manage and monitor Fastener stock, including quality checks of shipments from overseas
• Maintain clean and accurate ERP records using Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams
• Support continuous improvements in stock handling and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in inventory or warehouse control
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
• Good communication skills and team mindset
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus)
• Ability to lead and take initiative in a dynamic environment
