Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To act as the first point of contact for users of the service and to proactively deal with telephone enquiries from patients, parents, GPs, POSCU staff and community nursing teams in a courteous manner. To communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with the multidisciplinary team, patients, relatives, and other teams involved in the delivery of care. To provide non-clinical information to patients and their carers regarding appointments. To communicate relevant information to appropriate team members or departments as required. To document and distribute clinical and general correspondence in line with Trust standards. To input and maintain clinical information on the Trust information system and other patient related information as required.
