Summary
We are looking for a Lead Nurse at Borough Green Medical Practice to play a crucial role in managing the nursing team and ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered. Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team. Ensure the delivery of evidence-based nursing care. Lead on clinical governance and quality assurance initiatives. Patient Care: Oversee the management of long-term conditions and chronic disease clinics. Ensure effective patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Promote health education and disease prevention strategies. Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of nursing staff and students. Conduct appraisals and performance reviews. Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels. Policy and Procedure: Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements. Participate in audits and quality improvement projects. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with GPs, practice manager, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Liaise with external agencies and community services.
