Summary

Join a brand-new team where you'll make a real difference every day.

At Ascendancy Partnership Trust, Berkshire's newest and largest SEN family, we have a new Therapies Hub: we want to bring fresh ideas, new energy, and give children with complex needs the chance to thrive. All in the heart of beautiful Berkshire.

What's it all about?

Be part of something new: We're building our therapy team from the ground up. This is a chance for your ideas and experience to develop as we do: a chance to help shape the future of support for our amazing children and young people.

Make a difference: You'll work directly with children and young people who face unique challenges every day. Your work will help them develop the skills they need for life.

Team up with the best: You'll join a talented team of therapists and teachers, all focused on making sure every child gets the best possible education and support, in both special and mainstream schools.

Make a real impact: See the difference you make, day by day, as you help children grow more confident, independent, and ready for the world. At APT we celebrate all wins, big or small.

Grow your skills: We're all about continuous learning and development. Get clinical supervision, access to training, and the chance to try new things.

Reporting to the Head of Therapy Hub, you will deliver Occupational Therapy support to teaching staff and will be responsible for clinically supervising school-based therapy assistants at either Manor Green School (Cox Green), Brookfields School (Tilehurst) or Addington School (Woodley).

With your degree level professional qualification and HCPC registration, you will use your experience to work collaboratively to help deliver integrated therapeutic support in Trust schools as part of an outstanding joined-up service.

This is a rare opportunity to use your expertise to make a real difference in a SEND Trust, to be part of a growing service from inception whilst enhancing your own professional development.
