An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time, temporary outreach teacher with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional support needs and an interest in using specific knowledge and skills to support those with a hearing impairment. This post is based in Stirling Council’s ASL Inclusion Service. ASN Inclusion Service are a team of peripatetic teachers working with children and young people aged 0-18.

The role of the Hearing Impairment Outreach Teacher involves providing consultation, advice, assessment and support for children, young people, families and professionals in homes, early learning & childcare settings and schools to ensure that all children and young people are appropriately supported to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will be based in our office at Bannockburn High School, Stirling city and will travel to allocated early learning & childcare settings and schools within the Stirling Council area on a daily basis. This role includes providing support at home or young children and their families and regular liaison with medical professionals.
