Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious candidate who is looking to build a career in aseptic manufacturing, to join our busy aseptic services manufacturing
team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder must be keen to learn and develop with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will undertake a wide variety of roles within the unit including, but not limited to aseptic preparation, stock management, training and in-process checking. The post holder will be based at the Royal London Hospital supporting our well established, dedicated aseptic services manufacturing unit.

At Barts Health we take pride in developing our staff to progress. Within the Pharmacy department we offer several opportunities to do this. You will participate in training initiatives to meet both
individual and departmental goals. Once fully trained within the aseptic area, you will be enrolled onto the Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Level 3 course. Upon successful completion of the
SMT Level 3 course individuals are eligible to be registered as a Registered Science Technician (RSciTech). This also allows you to be eligible to apply for one of our Band 4 roles when available.

Applicants must have GCSE, Maths, English and Science Grades 4-7. Previous experience of working in an aseptic production unit is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Accuracy
and efficiency are essential. Attention to detail, adaptability and being a team player are a must.
