Summary


A full-time vacancy for an advanced practice sonographer has opened to join our ultrasound services across West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.

This role will be based at St Albans City Hospital, Hemel Hempstead Hospital and Watford General Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing towards the efficient service delivery of MSK ultrasound services.

The duties and responsibilities of the post holder include:
• To contribute to the operational duties of the ultrasound departments services across West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.
• To be an effective member of the Ultrasound team, promoting the trust values through our workforce.
• Provide a high standard of Sonographer/ultrasound services to radiologists and patients.
• Complete MSK ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
• Supervision of junior staff, international recruits and students through induction and training programmes.
• Willing to work across a 7 day rota, of short and long shifts.
