A Vacancy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.


We are looking for a Radiology Informatics and PACS manager to join our imaging department at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.

The main responsibilities include:
• Leading on all elements of radiology informatics, alongside the deputy PACS manager, PACS team and IT project manager.
• Supporting and leading on the PACS system, RIS system and order comms.
• Opportunities to work across three sites with flexible working arrangements considered.

The purpose of this post is to be an effective member of the Radiography team, a member of the senior team, to provide a high standard of radiographic services to Radiologists, patients and service users.

There will be an expectation to supervise junior staff and students.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of Radiological images 24hrs a day, seven days a week across the Trust.

Lead and develop the Radiology Informatics/PACS Team.

Be responsible for communications and effective working relationships between Trust Radiology, IT department and vendors to ensure the availability of Radiological images and reports throughout the Trust.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
