We are recruiting a Band 6 Physiotherapist for our rotation at Whipps Cross Hospital (WXH) to be part of our Therapy vision for our Physiotherapy service:

We are a friendly place to work, hold wellbeing activities, are an inclusive and diverse department with a band 6 professional development teaching programme supporting you to gain band 6 knowledge and skills as you begin your leadership journey.

Our general and specialist rotations include:

· Stroke Rehabilitation & Community Stroke Service

· Neuro Outliers

· Acute Older Peoples Services

· Critical Care with Surgery

· Surgery, Amputee Rehabilitation & Critical Care

· Acute Medicine with the following specialties: endocrinology, neurology & respiratory.

· Orthopaedics

· Emergency Therapy Team - Frailty unit, Accident & Emergency, Acute Assessment Unit

You will be involvedin Quality Improvementprojects, have students,participate in weekend working and the emergency respiratory on-call rota, supported by band 7 OT and PT team leads and the OT/PT Clinical Leads.We have a Trust’s Appraisal system and aBand 7 Practice Development Physiotherapist. The practice development team provide and support others to provide therapy intervention including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning across the department with a specific focus on training, upskilling and development of staff (including students).

HCPC registration and previous NHS experience is essential for this post.
