Summary

Operations Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Preston & North West
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + £3,960 Car Allowance or Company Car + £3,000 Welcome Bonus

The Role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee multiple children’s homes, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and team development. You’ll drive quality improvement, safeguard children and staff, and work with senior leaders to achieve strategic goals and placement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Home Managers across the region

  
  

• Maintain operational compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards

  
  

• Act as interim Home Manager when needed

  
  

• Ensure high-quality safeguarding and care practices

  
  

• Support referrals and placements in line with targets

  
  

• Collaborate with companies wider management teams

  
  

  Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a senior role within children’s residential care (strong RMs considered)

    
    

  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)

    
    

  • Proven track record of positive Ofsted outcomes
