About the Nursery:
Our new nursery has been thoughtfully designed with standout features that will make it a truly magical place to work and learn, including:
- A spacious nature garden and outdoor learning spaces
- A calming sensory room and creative atelier
- A hands-on children’s kitchen
- A dedicated staff training and wellbeing area
About the Role:
As a Unit Leader, you’ll take charge of a specific unit (Baby, Toddler, or Preschool), guiding your team to deliver outstanding care and education. You'll be supported by a robust management structure, including your Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, and our Head Office team.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide and inspire your room team, maintaining high standards of care and learning
- Act as a role model for best practice aligned with EYFS and safeguarding principles
- Build strong, caring relationships with children and their families
- Lead planning, observations, and assessments in your room
- Help create a vibrant, inclusive, and enriching environment
- Support teammates with training, wellbeing, and career development
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 preferred)
- Prior experience as a Room Leader / Senior Practitioner
- Confidence in leading a team within a room
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding practices
- A warm, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Genuine passion for early years and creating a truly nurturing setting
