We’re now thrilled to be opening a brand-new nursery in Hucknall and we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our founding team and help create a warm, inspiring environment where children can thrive from the very start.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new setting from day one, working with a supportive leadership team and within beautiful, purpose-built facilities.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our Hucknall team. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or above) and possess a strong commitment to fostering the holistic development of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and carers.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and interactions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals, building strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or above) is essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Passionate about early years education and child development.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
