Summary
We are seeking to appoint an Additional Learning Support Co-Ordinator, to support our team of Classroom Support Assistants and enhance the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning in our classrooms. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is wishing to progress their career in education.
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of different learning difficulties and an enthusiasm to enhance the learner’s experience.
What I might be doing?
You will liaise with learners to determine the correct level of support they require
You will use our in-house MIS system to create accurate reasonable adjustment reports
You will create and manage the schedule for our team of CSA’s
You will support our Adult Learners according to their needs, this could involve working 1:1 or with small groups
You will keep up to date electronic records on our learner’s support and progress
You will provide advice and support to our team of CSA’s to enable them to provide high quality classroom support
Attend and participate in regular meetings and training.
Requirements:
A minimum of Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
Maths and English at a minimum of Level 2 (or be prepared to undertake training within 12 months)
Previous experience of working in education would be an advantage although not essential for the right candidate.
