Summary
Our client, a family run Recycling Company based in Tamworth urgently requires a HGV Class 2 Driver (SKIP & Ro Ro).
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste in line with customer requirements. Your role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of company's site and supporting companies commitment to environmental sustainability
Key responsibilities include for a HGV Class 2 Driver (SKIP & Ro Ro) Driving the Skip and Ro Ro Trucks Carrying out vehicle condition checks as required on daily or weekly basis in accordance with company policy (Drivers Manual) Recording and reporting vehicle defects Carrying out assigned collection and delivery targets on a daily/weekly basis. Be 100% compliant with health, safety, smoking regulations and environmental requirements. Maintaining written and electronic records as required. Maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned company vehicle to agreed standards. Communicating information that could potentially improve customer service or increase business. Working flexibly in line with the requirements of the depot. Communicating effectively with helpers (where relevant) and ensure their health and safety. Participating in company mandated training. Our client offers for a HGV Class 2 Driver (SKIP & Ro Ro): Monday to Friday 0730- 1630 Occasional Saturday's Pay Rates for a HGV Class 2 Driver (SKIP & Ro Ro) £17.00ph Requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver (SKIP & Ro Ro): Valid CPC Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card Valid Class 2 HGV Driving Licence Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include: Weekly pay Online payslips Pension contribution Ongoing temporary assignment 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
