About the role:
The Art Teacher will deliver engaging and accessible lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging self-expression, confidence, and skill development. You will contribute to a creative curriculum that supports both academic and emotional progress.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and teach a broad Art curriculum
- Foster a safe, creative, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students with SEMH needs through art-based approaches
- Work collaboratively with staff to promote student wellbeing
- Help students achieve personal and academic goals
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Experience teaching Art, ideally in a SEN or SEMH setting
- Patience, creativity, and excellent classroom management
- Strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
- Ability to motivate and engage learners with complex needs
