Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
• Supporting the class teacher in creating an effective learning environment for the children.
• Working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and small groups of pupils.
• To support groups of a range of abilities under the direction of the class teacher
• Planning, teaching and assessing (with teacher support) intervention groups and year group specific small maths groups
• Working as part of a team
• Implementing school policies eg; behaviour, marking, safeguarding etc.
• Having high expectations of yourself, children and their learning.
• Building positive relationships with the children and colleagues within the school and community
• Working either in the pre-school or across EYFS to Year 6.
What the school offers its staff
A small, rural school, located near to East Midlands Airport, in North West Leicestershire. The size of our school enables staff to know each child individually and incredibly well. We have a very close staff team.
