We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibility.


The successful candidate will need to:
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of, and experience with, children with complex SEND needs.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children in all year groups.
  • Use effective, trauma-informed behaviour strategies to support individuals and classes.
  • Work as part of our developing approach to nurture, inclusion and emotional regulation.
  • Be a calm, consistent presence across the school especially for children who need it most.
  • Have knowledge and experience working with children across all key stages
  • Have a passion for working with children and enhancing their development.
  • Be confident being responsible for a group of key children
  • Have proven behaviour management skills
  • Be someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to challenge, inspire and motivate the children
  • Be open to new ideas and committed to working as part of the school team.
  • Show a commitment to on-going professional development.
