Are you a proactive and skilled Site Manager looking to take pride in keeping a school environment safe, clean, and welcoming? A school in London is seeking a reliable and dedicated part-time Site Manager to join the team from September 2025 on a permanent contract.
You'll play a vital role in maintaining the school premises to a high standard, ensuring the site is secure, well-maintained, and a positive space for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role offers the opportunity to make a visible difference in a friendly, community-focused school where your contribution will be valued every day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and decorating as required
• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained
• Manage the opening and closing of the school site each day
• Oversee the work of cleaning contractors to maintain hygiene standards
• Support health & safety compliance and ensure legal standards are met
• Monitor site supplies and maintain equipment where necessary
• Respond to site-related emergencies as required
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements and site security procedures
• Hands-on practical skills and experience in site maintenance
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
