You will be responsible for the direction and leadership of activities associated with the full life cycle delivery of a contract or work package assigned to you.As the Project Manager, you’ll ensure delivery of all (or part of) the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. You will ensure planning and delivery are met in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring timelines and budgets are metCollaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestonesImplement project management best practices to drive efficiency and qualityOversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring safety and complianceSupport the Senior Project Manager (SPM), Commercial and Procurement teams in the development and implementation of Sourcing Strategies and the development of tender documents.Provide written and oral reports and attend weekly and monthly reports to the SPM and engage with Site Delivery management for progress presentations. Reports will include (but not be limited to) H&S, progress, cost, and environmental monitoring, production rates, stakeholder relationships etc.Respond to tender queries, meet with suppliers if required and provide input to tender technical reviews.Interface with other projects and programmes to ensure a high-level view of how the total project is progressing and to identify and adopt the use of best practices.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth project progression.What We’re Looking ForProven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, major complex projects (value size approx. £25- £100 mil plus), ideally such as HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, TFL.Strong leadership and communication skillsNEC contract experience in multi-programme environmentsRelevant qualifications (NEC3/4, civil engineering, construction management, etc.)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExcellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.Significant experience in development of programmes and resource management.Intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues and work within our local supply chain vision, creating a one team ethos.Why Join UsBe part of a groundbreaking project shaping the UK’s energy futureCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and inclusive work environmentInterested?We’d love to hear from you.
