Summary
Are you ready to take centre stage in your teaching career? A School in Dagenham is seeking a Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from September 2025.
This full-time, permanent position is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher to deliver inspiring Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll work with a committed and collaborative team that values creativity, discipline, and expression - supporting students in building confidence and finding their voice.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach engaging Drama lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver lessons that promote creativity, performance, and confidence
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support and contribute to extra-curricular activities, including performances and clubs
• Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Participate in departmental planning and whole-school events
Qualifications and Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and creative flair
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for the arts and student engagement
• ECTs welcome with full support and induction provided
