Summary

The haematology teams work across the 2 University Hospital Sites: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital. The medical and nursing teams are working together to improve and align processes across the sites. You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and be enthusiastic and committed to making a difference, and a commitment to improving practice through ongoing personal and professional development. You will become responsible for delivering high standards of care using autonomous clinical skills as required but will have access to the consultants and their teams as required. You will work in conjunction with the management team and senior doctors to ensure the provision of high quality evidence based patient care. You will be a Registered Nurse with post registration development and education, leadership and teaching experience. You will need to have a track record of strong collaborative working, be able to build excellent relationships, and have the ability to innovate and be a key decision maker. Your role will include nurse -led clinics, and supporting service improvements, along-side clinical colleagues, within the Haematology and oncology day units. This role requires NMC Registration Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and occasional travel to Poole Hospital
