Summary

Introduction to Home-Start Teesside

Starting in the home our approach is as individual as the families we are supporting. No judgement, just compassionate, confidential support tailored to each family.

Our home -visiting volunteers visit a family in their home weekly for 2-3 hours to offer practical and emotional support and work alongside families to build on their own strengths.

We can support families who have a child under five and are struggling with poor physical/mental health, postnatal depression, bereavement, multiple births, isolation, and loneliness, seeking asylum.

The earliest years make the biggest impact; Home-start make sure those years count so that no child’s future is limited. We support families when they need us the most.
