Description
The Community Adaptations Officer (Scale 5) plays a crucial role in fostering resilient communities by implementing effective adaptation strategies that address the impacts of climate change. The officer will be tasked with researching and analyzing community needs, coordinating adaptation projects, and facilitating workshops to educate and empower residents about climate resilience. Responsibilities

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, community development, or a related field
Proven experience in project management, preferably in community engagement or environmental initiatives
Strong understanding of climate change impacts and adaptation strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
