The Governors and Headteacher of Seascape Primary School wish to appoint an Early Years (NURSERY) Enhanced Teaching Assistant who has the ability to increase pupil engagement and raise standards across school.
We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic and have high expectations of children's development and achievement. The role will include working in part with named children – all of which are high needs and have an EHCP.
The successful applicant will need to have relevant training and specific experience of working with young children together with a sound knowledge of the EYFS framework. Please refer to person specification for details.
We are looking for candidates who are committed to creating stimulating learning environments for our youngest children and are motivated to encourage and develop a love of learning. Ideally applicants should:
• have a good understanding of children’s learning and how to support them to achieve their potential
• have a good standard of spoken and written English and Maths
• have a good understanding of the teaching of early reading and early phonics
• have a caring disposition, able to support both the educational and emotional needs of pupils
• be an excellent and enthusiastic practitioner, committed to high standards
• make a valuable contribution to the work of our school
• foster strong and supportive relationships with parents and carers
• become fully involved in all aspects of school life
The successful applicant will possess an approved and relevant Level 6 Professional qualification (BA/BA Hons/ QTS/EYTS/EYPS)
