What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Westways Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, professional and friendly individual to join our fantastic school community. The right candidate will work as part of our office team for three days per week (term time only) on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience of working in a busy reception or office environment
• The ability to work using their own initiative
• A working knowledge of technology is essential
• The ability to establish positive relationships with our wider school community
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Reception duties, including…
• Being a first point of contact for the school
• Welcoming visitors and parents/carers
• Answering telephone calls
• Providing clerical and administration support to all staff and pupils
• Administration of admissions
• Monitoring and ordering of general school stock
• Processing school dinners through the ParentPay system
• Supporting the team with attendance related duties

• GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent)
• Confidence with using technology
